The Morning Benders - Excuses

The Morning Benders are a profoundly talented, albeit mildly nerdy, four-piece out of San Francisco.

Their song, "Excuses", has given the band some deserved recognition and i personally fell in love with it on the first listen.

The way it was recorded & produced will naturally bring up a comparison to Best Coast, However The Morning Benders are really nothing like Best Coast, firstly because of their 50's influence and secondly because they are not nearly stoned enough.

Sorry for the slow posting these past few days... my laptop (aka my baby) was stolen from the recording studio that i work at =(, so i lost everything and I'm super bummed at the moment... but the show must go on!
On a sunnier note, here is new music from KiD CuDi, Best Coast, and Rostam Batmanglij(of Vampire Weekend) for Converse.  Eclectic and retroactive, this summer anthem advocates raging, chillin' out, and living life in the moment... and we say AMEN to THAT!
